Ruby Rebel Threads - Embroidery Design Terms of Use

Thread Color Information:

Ruby Rebel Threads designs are digitized using Isacord or Floriani polyester thread colors. When converted to other file formats, thread colors may display differently. However, embroidery is a creative art form—you are encouraged to choose your own colors to match your project and personal style.

Stabilization Guidelines:

For best results, always use the proper stabilizer based on your fabric type. Incorrect stabilizers can cause poor stitching, gaps, puckering, and misaligned outlines. Recommended stabilizers include sticky-back tearaway for floating cotton fabric, fusible no-show mesh for t-shirts, and water-soluble topping for high-pile fabrics like towels and fleece.

Design Usage:

Ruby Rebel Threads designs are for use with embroidery machines only. Embroidery software may be required to merge designs or arrange lettering. We recommend Embrilliance products.

Terms of Use

Personal & Small Business Licensing:

You may use these designs to create finished stitched items for personal use or to sell through your small home-based business. Mass production or use in commercial manufacturing requires a commercial license. All design files remain the intellectual property of Ruby Rebel Threads.

Prohibited Activities:

Sharing, reselling, or redistributing the original design files (digital or physical)
Altering the design files for resale
Using design files to create printed items, HTV, screen prints, or digital images
Creating other embroidery designs for resale from any Ruby Rebel Threads design

Image Use:

We include JPEGs or other preview images of our designs. You may use these on your product listings or social media to promote finished goods as long as the watermark remains intact and images are not altered.

Usage Restrictions

You MAY:

Stitch designs on items for personal use
Sell finished goods using our designs (limit 100 per design)
Use watermarked design previews on business listings

You MAY NOT:

Resell, gift, or share design files (in whole or in part)
Claim our designs as your own
Alter our designs to make new designs for resale
Use designs for vinyl, screen print, HTV, POD, or cutting machines
Use designs or images for logos, web graphics, or branding
Use designs in mass manufacturing or wholesale to retailers
Convert fonts into digital embroidery fonts for resale

We do not guarantee quality if designs have been altered, resized, or edited.

You may create one backup copy for personal use. Customizing files for your own stitched project is allowed, but selling the customized file is not.
